As we begin the year, corporate business travel continues to evolve — not just as a necessity, but as a powerful way for teams to connect, collaborate, and move business forward. While the landscape may be more complex, the purpose behind business travel remains the same: meaningful connections, productive journeys, and confidence every step of the way.
At Campbell Travel, our approach has always been rooted in people. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain focused on what matters most to our clients — trusted partnerships, thoughtful service, and travel solutions that truly support their business goals.
This year, our priorities are clear:
Delivering the high level of personal service our clients expect, with knowledgeable advisors, proactive support, and care that goes beyond the booking.
Strengthening and expanding our relationships, working closely with our existing clients while welcoming new partners who value expertise and collaboration.
Embracing new technologies that enhance efficiency and insight, while always keeping the human touch at the center of the customer experience.
While corporate travel continues to change, our commitment does not. We’re here to simplify the journey, anticipate challenges, and ensure our clients feel supported — before, during, and after every trip.
We look forward to another year of partnership, progress, and helping businesses travel with confidence.
Happy New Year - and thank you for your partnership!

REMINDER: TSA to Charge Non-REAL ID Travelers in 2026
Beginning February 1, 2026, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will charge $45 for air travelers who arrive at airport security without a REAL ID or other acceptable form of identification (like a passport). The fee will be used for the identity-verification system called TSA Confirm.ID which will be the required alternative.
Southwest's "Open Seating" Policy ends this month!
Southwest Airlines is transitioning away from its signature open seating model — in place for over 50 years — to an assigned seating and group boarding system beginning January 27, 2026. This marks one of the most significant operational shifts for the carrier, aligning Southwest with how other major U.S. airlines operate and affecting boarding experience and seat assignments on corporate itineraries.
According to a recent Morgan Stanley survey, companies are planning for increased travel spend this year — reinforcing the importance of proactive planning, policy alignment, and traveler support.
New Year, New Intentions: Starting the Year Rested, Restored, and Renewed
As the new year begins, many travelers are rethinking their resolutions — placing greater focus on wellbeing, balance, and meaningful experiences. Wellness travel continues to be one of the most impactful ways to reset, recharge, and start the year with intention.
From serene spa retreats and mindful movement to immersive nature experiences and holistic healing, today’s wellness resorts are designed to support both physical and mental renewal. Whether it’s a beachfront sanctuary, a mountain escape, or a destination rooted in ancient healing traditions, these journeys offer space to slow down and reconnect.
If prioritizing wellness is part of your year-ahead goals, a thoughtfully planned retreat can be the perfect place to begin, and we'd love to help!
